Why Khiron Life Sciences (TSXV: KHRN) deserves your respect
Khiron Life Sciences (TSXV: KHRN) (OTCQB: KHRNF) is the Rodney Dangerfield of cannabis companies. American comedian Dangerfield’s famous line was “I get no respect.” It seems to me there were a number of developments recently that are reasons to respect Khiron.
This is Joe Mimran who recently joined Khiron’s Board of Directors. Mimran is an internationally renowned brand and retail visionary known for creating brands such as Joe Fresh, Alfred Sung and Club Monaco. Mimran believes cannabis will move beyond pharmaceutical and recreational concepts and it will become a classic Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) play. Brand development is the contribution Mimran believes he can make to Khiron in this environment. Why do people like Mimran and Vicente Fox, former President of Mexico choose to participate in the cannabis industry by associating with Khiron? Respect.
The Cannabis ETF (NYSE: THCX) is an Exchange Traded Fund listed on the New York Stock Exchange. THCX tracks the Innovation Labs Cannabis Index, a portfolio of stocks expected to benefit from the growth of the legal cannabis, CBD and hemp industries. THCX added KHRN to its portfolio. To me, that’s respect.
The Motley Fool is a well-known and widely followed financial and investment advisor. On July 10, 2019, they published an article titled, ‘Time to Invest in This Colombia Cannabis Cultivator.’ The report discussed the advantages of Colombia for legal cannabis operators and featured Khiron Life Sciences. It concluded, Khiron “…is the company we think you should strongly consider having in your portfolio if you want to position yourself wisely for the coming marijuana boom.” This speaks for itself.
This is a big reason I think Khiron commands your respect. KHRN has an amazing group of people. It is why people like Joe Mimran and Vicente Fox choose to join KHRN. It is why companies like The Cannabis ETF decide KHRN is an excellent representative of what is happening in the cannabis industry in Colombia and Latin America. It is why The Motley Fool recommends KHRN as an investment.
