Ontario Cannabis Store enters into supply agreements with 26 LPs

Ontario Cannabis Store, sole legal online retailer for recreational cannabis, has entered into supply agreements with 26 licensed producers: 7ACRES/Supreme Cannabis, AgMedica Bioscience, Aphria, Aurora Cannabis, Beleave, Broken Coast Cannabis, CannTrust, Canopy Growth, Emblem Cannabis, HEXO Operations, Hiku Brands, Maricann, MedReleaf, Natural MedCo, Northern Green, Organigram, Peace Naturals, Radicle Medical Marijuana, RedeCan Pharm, Solace Health, Starseed Medicinal, THC BioMed, The Flowr Group, Tilray, Up Cannabis and VIVO Cannabis (read full news release here).

Ontario is Canada’s largest province. Following a recent election, the new government has decided to allow privately owned dispensaries but these are not expected to open until April 1, 2019. Until then and starting on October 17, consumers can only purchase recreational cannabis using an online retail platform provided by the Ontario Cannabis Store.
